Fremont: Minor Schedule Change

There will be a small schedule change for the Fremont Studio that will be in effect starting Jan. 12, 2015. Students on our Demonstration Teams should be aware of the changes, but most of the other classes will be unaffected.

It's that time of year again! Our annual tournament is back for its 17th year, and we encourage all our students to participate in this event - held exclusively for Mach Martial Arts members. Students of all ages and ranks are eligible to participate, and all participants will receive a trophy based on their performances. All ages and ranks are eligible for Forms and Breaking categories, and students who have begun sparring in class (Regular Yellow Belt & Up; Little Tiger Orange Belt & Up) are eligible to compete in the Sparring category.

**All Mach Martial Arts students are required to have 2 or more tournament experiences before earning their 1st degree black belts and at least one more tournament experience for each subsequent degree.

Jump Rope Competition 2014

We are very excited to be kicking off 2014 with our first big event of the year: the Jump Rope Competition! It will be held this Saturday, January 25th at the Pleasanton Studio from 11am to 1pm. We will be accepting forms until Friday, so there's still time to practice and enter the competition! Continue reading for more information about this weekend.

Pre-Recommendation for March Black Belt Test

This Friday, January 17, will be the Pre-recommendation for students who are planning for the March Black Belt Test. It will be held in the Fremont Studio at 6:30 and will last about an hour to an hour and a half. Although it is not mandatory, we highly encourage our white stripes to attend in order to better prepare them for the actual Recommendation in February. Practice hard, and talk to your instructors if you have any questions!

Winter Break

In honor of the winter holidays, all of our schools will be closed from Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 for winter break. We encourage all of our students to practice and be active at home every day to stay sharp. More importantly, though, we want you to all enjoy extra time with friends and family and to just have funWe will open our doors again on Thursday, January 2.

Fremont Students: Minor Schedule Change for 2014

There will be a small change to the Fremont Dojang's schedule in 2014. The Thursday Make-Up class will be moved to Tuesday from 5:30 - 6:10, and the Little Tiger Demo Team class will move to Thursday from 5:30 - 6:10. All other classes will be unaffected.

If you have scheduled an assist or plan on making up classes, please make sure that you work around these new times!
