March 2014 Black Belt Test

One of our most exciting events of the year is this Saturday at Chadbourne Elementary School: the Black Belt Test! This ceremony only happens twice a year, and all Mach Martial Arts members are invited to celebrate! These candidates have been working hard every night for the past month to earn their first, second, third, and fourth degree black belts. The event is free to watch, so feel free to bring your family and friends to watch and support the candidates on this amazing day.

Pre-Recommendation for March Black Belt Test

This Friday, January 17, will be the Pre-recommendation for students who are planning for the March Black Belt Test. It will be held in the Fremont Studio at 6:30 and will last about an hour to an hour and a half. Although it is not mandatory, we highly encourage our white stripes to attend in order to better prepare them for the actual Recommendation in February. Practice hard, and talk to your instructors if you have any questions!

Mission Statement

Ultimately, martial arts is about respect - respect for oneself, respect for others, and respect for one's surroundings. Through disciplined physical and mental training, any student can learn the value of all-around respect and see what it means to be a true martial artist.
